About Coleshill United
The Church was built and founded as a Wesleyan Methodist Chapel in 1900 a traditional small church of that time. The Congregational Church in Coleshill closed in 1970 and the members of both Churches came to worship together. The Church to be known as the United Church (Congregational and Methodist) Coleshill. Since that time the Congregational Church in England and Wales and the Presbyterian Church of England have joined together as the United Reformed Church.</p>
The pews have recently been replaced by 50 chairs, some with arms and all donated. Total capacity about 90-100. The chapel has been carpeted and new energy efficient heaters and lighting installed. There is an integral community hall at the rear originally used as a Sunday School. At the present time there are 18 members and 11 other regular worshippers.
