About South Yardley

We are warm and friendly church with a mixed ethnic congregation and junior church. We have many different activities during the week:- Girls' Brigade, Cameo, Stay & Play Toddler Group, Loopy Lou Toddler Group, Golden Oldies Social Club, monthly Lunch Club, monthly Supper Club (with Small Heath Methodist Church) We are also proud of being an 'eco' church. We also have a midweek Holy Communion service on a Tuesday.

Our priorities are:

• To worship God together and encourage people to share in worship and fellowship.
• To build a welcoming and loving community within the church and beyond.
• To help people to find faith and Christians of all ages to grow in faith.
• To serve our neighbours and demonstrate God's love in practice.

Service Times

We have a service at 11:00am on a Sunday which alternates between Holy Communion and All Age.

Groups

We have rooms to let, which are well used for children's parties and other activities, including Aikido, sewing group, Keep fit, Narcotics Anonymous. As a church we also hold quiz evenings, barn dances, beetle drives, coffee mornings, as well as a Spring Fayre and regular Jumble sales.
